The Beginning

Bec and I decided that due to the high prices in Sydney, the idea of buying a second property to live in whilst renting out our first house was just going be too expensive. On one sunday afternoon, we had a lightbulb moment (Either we heard an ad on the radio or saw an advert in the paper) and we thought, knockdown the existing house and rebuild our dream home! It didn't take much convincing and we were in the car and off to Kellyville Home World.

We have never been house shopping like that before, the place was massive and we had no idea where to begin. We were just kinda wandering and we didn't even know how to get into a display home to begin with! We spent the majority of the afternoon there and were pretty set on building a house called the Aria which had this awesome dark and light theme kitchen going on and we were in love! We took all our brochures and went home to excitedly tell Bec's parents the awesome news of building a house!
