With the cement render done, will still be painted later on.

It's bitter sweet at the moment, just finished a long weekend so back to the rat race today butttttt it means the builders come back to work as well so yay! Today we are scheduled to have the gyprock work started so fingers crossed they get to start. We've been told this can take up to 2 weeks to complete.

We went by the house over the long weekend and noticed the roof has now been completely finished and that bit of scaffolding has been taken down. The front has been cement rendered and looks so good now, cant wait for it to get painted!

As far as we know, we should have a bit of a site clean up done soon as majority of outside work has been done now and also have the bricks cleaned which will be cool.

Enjoy the latest photos :)

Pic from the back alfresco and two rear bedrooms.

Front portico and master bedroom windows. And soooo close to finishing bricks!

Garage which should have a door in a week or so, we're hoping!

Another master room window then ensuite window to the right. All bricked and waiting to be rendered.

Media window and side alfresco.

Side alfresco door, living windows then the back alfresco.

And two cute little birds playing around yesterday!

So we thought we would swing by the house yesterday on the way home and weren't expecting too much as it was raining in the morning but seemed to clear up by the arvo. Much to our surprise, the majority of the roof was done! Will post pics shortly.

This is the back alfresco but also shows our guttering which is night sky (black).

This is the side of the master and ensuite which will all be rendered in tranquill retreat.

These are our roof tiles which are ready to go. It's sambucca but you cant tell cos its all wrapped up.

This is the front of the house. The two pillars at the front are bricked in the sorbetto brick and all that orange will be rendered.

The long window is in the master and that empty blue spot is where the cedar cladding will be so that's why it's not bricked.

This is the back alfresco side again but with the roof having the insulation done and now ready for roof tiles.

Another shot of the back. Ignore the yukky brown fence, we are actually getting a nice ebony/night sky (black) fence put in.

Side alfresco and a family room window.

Side alfresco in the middle, media room window to the left and family room window to the right.

Hi Guys!

Sorry for the delay in posts, not too much has gone on really, especially with the rain coming and going so often bah! So at the moment, the brick work is so close to being finished, there's only a little to go at the front of the house so should be done today or tomorrow (weather depending). You will notice an empty space on the corner of the master and there will actually be some cedar cladding there so that's why there's no bricks on it.

They have also delivered our roof tiles and it looks like the roof has been insulated and is ready to have the tiles laid so hopefully that happens in a couple of days (fingers crossed). After this I believe there is still some electrical work to go but we have been told that we have the gyprock guys booked in to start towards the end of the month which is exciting too!

I'll post up some pics with the bricks more completed but it's a bit fresh so I think the off white mortar comes up better once it's more set.
